The trademark owner may ask the competent authorities to prevent the prevention of the use of his brand without his permission.

He may prevent unauthorized use of the trademark in the following cases:

  Similarity of the trademark Similarity of goods/services Opposition of the owner of the registered trademark
a) SAME SAME  
b) SAME OR SIMILAR SAME OR SIMILAR

It makes the impression on the consumer that there is a connection between the opposed trademark and the registered trademark.

There is also the possibility that the opposed trademark and the registered trademark may be confused by the consumer.

c) SAME OR SIMILAR DIFFERENT

Obtain unfair advantage due to the reputation of the registered trademark.

It may damage the distinctive character of the registered trademark.
