What are the reasons for the termination of the patent right?

- The protection period of the patent is 20 years. After the expiration of this 20-year period, the patent is deemed to have been expired.koruma süresi 20 yıldır.
- For the patent's protection period of 20 years, an annual fee should be paid to the Turkish Patent Office every year within due date. If the patent holder does not pay the annual fee until the determined deadline, his/her patent right shall expire.
- The patent right ends when the patent owner notifies the Turkish Patent Office with a written statement that he has given up his patent right.
